"Life is like a camera...
Focus on what's important,
capture the good times,
develop from the negatives,
and if things don't work out,
take another shot."
~Ziad K. Abdelnour~
Ever since I was a child I knew I would end up doing something with my life that involved dogs. My love of them runs deep. They have been a part of my life since the age of 5 and I can't imagine living without one. Dogs are not only our companions, they are family members that give us unconditional love and take care of us as much as we take care of them.
I was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ and still reside there today. I come from a very large family and am the youngest of 11 children. When I set out on this journey it was several of my family members that pushed me to pursue my dream of starting this venture.
My passion for photographing dogs began several years ago. I had the perfect subject in my Golden Retriever, Taffy. She loved the camera as does my current Golden boy, Finn. I then became involved with a Non Profit organization, Warrior Canine Connection that raises and trains Golden and Labrador Retrievers to become Service Dogs for our nation's Wounded Warriors. This gave me the perfect platform to perfect my skills. I have photographed many of their dogs over the years and provide them with images for their social media and yearly calendar.
When I photograph dogs it is a joy for me. Not one is the same, and they each have their own personality. Some are quiet and reserved while others are full of energy and enthusiasm. My goal is to capture your dogs unique character, expressions and beauty.
